A memory is like a mirrored blade, reflecting all the sorrows of your past
You think that blood can take the pain away, never to know this breath may be your last
Not caring if your life will fade away, you slash your veins and blood spills endlessly
It never stops and fear tears at your soul, you scream so loud and lie in misery
But not a soul can hear your cries, nobody seems to care
This blade has never healed your soul, it has not given you fresh air
It’s like a temporary drug, a pill that all the heartless give
Something that never goes away, you know that you don’t want to live
But you survive for ones you love, it isn’t like you feel alive
You feel so dead on the outside, and you still wish you could revive
The heartless call you all these names, and curse your soul for every scar
They show not love, but happiness, and you just cry beneath the stars
Pretending they understand, they think that they know how it feels
Trying to say that they are strong, they say they’ve been there and they healed
Acting like it’s a simple task, but they were never in your place
Your heart is beating like the rain, each time it rains you lose your pace
Why do they throw you to the ground, why do they kill you with their lies?
Your innocence is killing you, it’s tearing you away from this world’s skies
Lying alone in your own pain, why can’t you even runaway?
It’s everything you do is wrong, and you know you can’t stay
They judge you by the scars you have, they treat you like a prisoner
But they can’t see the tears you cry, and they don’t have your visions
For you are one to heal this pain, your carry hope with ones you love
Watching as time passes away, you stare into the skies above
This world is coming to an end, and you will wait to die
No matter how much pain you feel, you’re trying not to cry
But they still curse and call you names, they love to break you down
To them it looks like you don’t care, but deep inside you want to drown
It’s like a deep consuming void, that spins so quickly through your mind
You feel yourself losing control, you know that everyone is blind
But you still stand to prove them wrong, your silence is a silhouette
So calm and peaceful with this Earth, unsure of all the love you get
And still you hold onto the blade, staring through your reflection
With unknown tears flooding your eyes, you live in this rejection
Why do they treat you like a stone, they throw you in the deepest sea
Unknowing that it isn’t right, so careless as to who you’ll be
You will succeed or can’t you see, your innocence will carry on
Caring so much for ones you love, why can’t you see that you are strong?
I do know how it feels to cry, sometimes I also hold a blade
One time I  tried to runaway, but in a hospital I stayed
I still see you holding your blade, your throat is open as you bleed
What have you done, how could you leave us all behind in pain and greed?
Your screams are heard by ones you love, we wanted you to stay alive
Trying so hard to heal your pain, but now you’re gone, we can’t revive
But should we stay or should we follow, your death has torn our souls apart
We’re lying in this misery, with daggers piercing through our hearts
So desperate to be free from this, we miss the precious words you said
But no;w you’re gone and we’re alone, some of us wish that we were dead
Because you left, our pain increased, and now we want to die
This sorrow is consuming us, we’re trying not to cry
How could you leave us all behind, alone to bleed in so much pain
We’re so confused and lost inside, some of us call ourselves insane
And yet we still try to stand strong, although this sorrow weighs us down
We lie beneath these unseen graves, afraid to live, we slowly drown
Although our lives feel so unreal, we’re seeking for the greatest end
But there is no way out of this, God still has some Ravens to send
They come and teach us how to live, we spread our wings and learn to fly
If only you were here with us, each time we think of you we cry
